The new Sigur Rós track!

HHEERROOO!!

Well. In 2000 my dad, Albert, introduced to Sigur Rós' Ágætis Byrjun. An album that completely changed everything in music. And if you ask me, one of the best albums ever recorded. We went to their Airwaves gig in Iceland in 2001 and it was mind-blowing! Back then they didn't tour with Amina, so it was only the four of them on stage. Now, after seeing them playing 7 different concerts, they have only grown stronger and stronger, and Sigur Rós have also gained an audience they fully deserve. Over the last couple of years they've been recycling a lot of their material. If you ask me '( )' and 'Takk...' have some great songs, but also a few 'not that good..'. In my opinion!

Thats why Sigur Rós' new single gobbledigook is so great. You can still hear it sounds very much like Sigur Rós, but they've taking a very different direction. That direction suits them well, I love the new single. Download it here!

Three cheers for the fellow Icelanders.
